After a roller coaster week our friends Dustin and Jen finally found out they passed court today!!!!! Head over to their blog and meet adorable Jonas Liben.
However, their agency pushed their embassy date back a week to December 24th. So lots of frantic calls were made back and forth to decide what to do. They didn’t really want to spend an extra week there in between our week at Hope for the Hopeless and the embassy appt but we still really want to travel together.
So we’ve decided to push our travel back a week as well. In reality, this was our “original” travel time but we had pushed up a week to match them.
So we will be leaving the 14th and returning on the 27th with Wendemagegn and Beza.
Yes, we will miss Christmas with Noah and Natalie. However, we were going to miss several key events next week – the kids Christmas program at school, two baseball games, and I have tickets to take Natalie to The Nutcracker on the 13th. So we will probably just celebrate Christmas early – what kid doesn’t want to do that 🙂 We haven’t told them yet so we’ll see how they react.
So, I get to breathe a little and have some more time to pack and love on my kiddos. Most of all I am so excited that God has made this incredible dream come true. Even just 3 months ago it seemed impossible that we would get to travel with Dustin and Jen. We serve a might God – the Master Planner and miracle worker!
