Someone on Twitter linked to this old Apple commercial and it really resonated w/ me.

Because when you get all up in people’s business about the number of orphans in the world, or the people dying from lack of clean water, or because they don’t have an $8 malaria net…well, people begin to think you’re a little crazy.

And it’s easy to decide that it’s easier to shut up, because after all, you can’t solve any of these problems by yourself.

So here’s to the crazy people who think they can change the world. This one is for you!

Adoption, the church & the book

Yesterday I had the privilege of being on the “Connecting Faith” program with Neil Stavem on KTIS-Faith900 in the Minneapolis/Upper Midwest area. Over the course of an hour we talked about adoption, how as the church we can support one another, and how families can adopt without going into debt.
